Atago Shrine
The establishment dates back to 923 (Encho 1), and the main shrine was reportedly reconstructed in 1824 (Bunsei 7). The highlight is the magnificent carvings by the second-generation sculptor Tsunehachi Ishihara. It is designated as a tangible cultural property by the prefecture.
